Time Enunciator
(Windows based Software)
|
Introduction
Time Enunciator is a computer based alarm clock that is used to notify employees of their PUNCH
IN and OUT times for the start and end of work and all breaks. The system is based on a single computer
with a sound card (multi-media) and one of the following operating systems: Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2K,
and XP. The computer can be stand alone, or a part of a "peer to peer" network.
Time Enunciator is a valuable asset for businesses that have employees that are paid on an hourly
basis. The labor laws are very specific. If an employee works any OVERTIME, even ten minutes, authorized
or not, the employer must pay the employee OVERTIME pay for this time. This can be difficult to manage
for both the employer and the employee. From the employee's perspective, it can be difficult to do their
job while keeping a close eye on the clock.
Time Enunciator helps to solve this problem by alerting you and your employees of their proper
clock IN and Clock OUT times, and all of the starting and ending times of their BREAKS. If desired, you
can even announce both the beginning and ending point of each clock IN/OUT window. This will greatly help
both you and your employees to precisely manage their work time. With
Time Enunciator both you and your employees can concentrate on productivity instead of the clock!
Basically Time Enunciator is a "Super Duper" customizable alarm clock. It allows you to program up to 100
different alarm times per day. It uses your computer's sound card to produce the "Alarm". For each alarm
period, Time Enunciator can either state the current time, as in; "The time is eight
twenty-five AM", or you can customize it by assigning any standard WAV audio file that you
yourself produced. This means that you can customize the alarm to any combinations of sounds and voices
that you want. For example, you could have the alarm start by playing five seconds of the Bonanza Theme
song followed by a voice saying: "It's time to get to work!". Your imagination is the
only limitation.
